Description

Mariners Beach House is situated on Turnberry Drive, close to the beach, tennis court, playground and village centre.

Enter through the side door into the hallway with coat storage. To your left are the master bedroom with kingsize bed and ensuite shower room, and the second bedroom with two small (2ft6) single beds which can be made as another kingsize on request. There is also another shower room with jack-and-jill doors.

To the right is the open-plan kitchen / dining / lounge space with bifold doors to the deck with seating, ideal for alfresco dining or sitting out whilst the children play outside.

We leave games, DVDs etc for our guests to use. The log burner makes this beach house warm and cosy for breaks all year round.

Please note the path sleepers can be uneven and slippery when wet and therefore this property may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.

Mariners beach house is around 10 mins to the beach and with the playground nearby, its ideal for a family too.
About 2 mins to the pub and pool, with parking spaces nearby.

the location was fab - very near the top of the slope for the beach but also very central for the leisure facilities. I had a dog with me so could easily access the beach path but also my elderly Mum who could easily walk on the flat with her walker round to the pub on an evening. The pub was completely dog friendly and there were plenty in there! Apart from the problem below - the stay was excellent - would definitely stay there again :-).

Had a lovely stay, great cabin with everything you could need, well equipped and beautifully finished. Very handy to have an outside tap and socket (used that for my blower to dry the dog). Perfect for a holiday with the dog, nice short walk to the beach and across to primrose valley and both the site and Filey in general is the most dog friendly place I've been to. Communication with Paula on the run up to my stay was great, I didn't have any need to make contact after this as there were no issues at all, everything works as it should and the place was easy to find and get in to. The site overall is beautiful and very peaceful. I didn't really use any of the facilities (gym, spa, pool etc) so can't comment on these but would imagine they're up to the same high standard as the rest of the site.
