What types of data do we collect –
Enquiry – Name, email, and telephone number (and other information if supplied)
Booking request or booking – Number of guests, plus names (and approx age band) of each guest, address of booker, email, telephone number(s), payment arrangements, special requirements which may affect your arrangements at the property (e.g. allergies, medical conditions, disabilities).
Who do we share your information with –
If you place a booking, we will share your basic information (e.g main booker’s name, number of guests, bed configuration, and personal requirements) with the designated cleaning company.
The specific property owner, and any employees of Filey Bay Direct Ltd also have access to the main booker’s name.
We hold your data on “Supercontrol”, a secure system designed to administer holiday bookings, enquiries and payments.
How do we treat your information –
All details that you provide to Filey Bay Direct Ltd via Supercontrol will be kept for the period of your booking and holiday. We are required under UK law to keep basic information on the lead booker, such as your name, address and contact details for a maximum of 6 years, after which time it will be destroyed. We hold your information securely and do not share this information with any third parties other than as set out in the statement. We do not hold information for marketing purposes, unless you request this service from us.
