Description

The Lake House is situated on the Meadows, a beautiful location with south-facing deck onto one of the lakes with ducks and other wildlife.

Enter through the side door into the hallway. To the left is the living space, with corner kitchen with all the appliances you'll need. There’s a dining table for 4 and the living area has a long sofa, armchair, coffee table, smart TV, with bifold doors.

The large bifold doors open onto the enclosed deck with seating, ideal for watching the local wildlife or relaxing with a drink.

Down the hallway, there are two bedrooms, both with double beds, smart TVs and ensuite wet or shower rooms.

The lodge benefits from its own parking bay and free WiFi. Additional and plentiful parking is nearby (30 second walk).

We allow 1 well-behaved dog.

This property has a path to the entrance door which makes it accessible for those with mobility issues. However, please note we do not have grab rails in the bathrooms (please see photos.)

Please note: This property has a bio-ethanol fire but for fire safety, we do not provide bio-ethanol, and if you do buy your own, you must not store it within the property.

Paula's View

I simply love The Lake House. Furnished and decorated in a contemporary style, with a sunny deck ideal for watching the local wildlife. It may be small, but it's a comfortable base for a couple or a small family as it has everything you need. I do often get asked if the second bed can be split into twin beds, but do bear in mind it is a king and a double bed in this property.

Lovely, well kept lodge providing a peaceful stay overlooking the lake. Local amenities within easy walking distance and meadows nearby for dog walking. Would recommend.

It was lovely to stay at the lake house at the bay filey. We have been to the bay a few times but this was one of the best places we have stayed. Highly recommend.

Great mini break with a 3 year old and our dog Hugo. Great walks round the lake right outside the lodge. The lodge is very clean and would easily fit two couples. The lodge over looks a lake which is great to watch the wildlife with a glass of wine, will be great in the summer months. Only a ten minute walk to the beach. Very convenient pub on site which is also dog friendly. The staff in the pub were great with our son, we visited every night and felt relaxed that we could take the dog also. We also visited Filey, Robin Hood Bay, Scarborough, Bridlington, which are all within easy reach of the lodge. We will be defo booking again 😊
