We are constantly making improvements to our properties to ensure that you can be confident in quality properties booked through Filey Bay Direct. We expect our guests to treat our homes as their own, and let us know on the rare occasion that something gets broken or damaged, so that we can maintain our high standards.

Some of our properties like Sailaway Cottage (4 bedrooms), Luna Azul (3 bedrooms), and Caramel Cottage (3 bedrooms) had a full programme of works before being available for bookings, and therefore are like new – with new beds/mattresses, sofas, TVs, furniture, soft furnishings and more.

Some of our existing properties have ongoing improvements so we’ve listed some of the biggest changes below:

12 Green Close (4 bedrooms)

We have new beds and mattresses in all four bedrooms (2021), and have redecorated throughout, added new blinds, curtains and light fittings (March 2022).

Anchor Down (2 bedrooms)

New TV and storage unit in second bedroom.

Anchors Away (3 bedrooms)

We have a new bathroom and shower room fitted and new redecoration programme (spring 2022). New sofas (winter 2022-23). Redecoration programme.

Blue Anchor Retreat (2 bedrooms)

New smart TV. New outside table and parasol (Spring 2023)

Blue Bay (2 bedrooms)

We have a new sofa bed for guests (April 2022). New bedroom furniture, patio furniture, BBQ, vanity unit, redecoration (spring 2023).

We have a new outside table, chairs and benches (April 2022) and gas BBQ (2021), and a new zip and link large kingsize bed for the second bedroom (2021). New main bed mattress (Spring 2022).

We have two new sofas (April 2022), and a new microwave (April 2022). New walk-in shower (December 2023).

We have a new tall fridge-freezer (May 2022), lounge furniture, carpets and redecoration (winter 2022-23).

We have new lounge curtains (2021), and a new kingsize mattress (February 2022), new armchair (May 2022), sofa (summer 2022), and shower enclosure (June 2023).

Lakeside Retreat (2 bedrooms)
