Prospect Cottage is situated on Seaford Avenue, a quiet corner of The Bay but still only a few minutes to the village centre.

Enter through the front door into the hall with cloaks storage and downstairs toilet. Through the internal door into the open plan living space. To the left is the well-equipped kitchen with washing machine, new oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, and tall fridge-freezer. Round dining table for 4, and two large sofas and smart TV and DVD player for relaxing with the family. Bifold doors open wide to let the outside in. Large extended patio with seating and brick-built BBQ.

Take the stairs off the living space to the two spacious upstairs bedrooms with TVs and built in storage, and a family bathroom in between. Plenty of space for 2 in the twin room. The main bedroom also has double doors onto the balcony with seating. The bathroom has a bath with rainfall shower over.

Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome.

Prospect Cottage is a unique property on the Bay at a great price point - with a balcony addition so you can enjoy a morning cuppa or evening glass of wine whilst the kids play on the large lawn outside. Furnished to a high standard, with laminate floor throughout (except the stairs) and 2 good sized bedrooms, its a perfect base for exploring the Yorkshire coast. If you are a larger group, then why not consider its sister property, Prospect Lodge which sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms all with ensuites.

We had a great time. The house was so lovely, clean and a lot bigger than it looks on the pictures. The Bay is a fabulous, safe place to stay. Walking distance to the beach and a very short drive into Filey. The lawned area at the back was great for my little boy. Paula has thought of everything with games and books. So even when it rained we had plenty to do in the house. Would definitely recommend and we will be booking again
