The Bay is the perfect place to celebrate Christmas with your loved ones, or just to get away from it all for some R&R.
All properties are cosy and warm, many with log burners or fires too.
Some of our guests just like to get away from it all in and enjoy cosy nights in infront of the TV or with a good book, or enjoy the peace and quiet with a bracing walk on the beach.
But if you want to be more active, the resort amenities are open over the holiday period too*, so do a few length of the pool, warm up in the steam room or sauna or burn off your Christmas dinner in the gym. And we are very excited to hear from the resort manager that Father Christmas and some of his reindeer are planning to fly by on Monday 22nd December!
We decorate some properties too (please reserve one of our trees when you book) or you are welcome to bring your own tree or decs too.
Plus all our Christmas guests receive one of our Filey Bay Direct goody bags too!
Note: Many of our larger 3 and 4 bedroom properties are all already booked for Christmas and New Year but are available the weekend before or after if you want to get the family together. Or just ask us if you’d like 2 or more smaller properties together as we can advise for your group and offer a multiple property discount – ideal for families to have their own space but all still meet up for festivities.
NOTE: We now have a 2 night minimum so that you can get away even for a mini-break – we just don’t have arrivals or departures on Christmas Day, Boxing Day or New Year’s Day so that our cleaning teams get some time off too!
We have been told there are no plans for fireworks, silent or otherwise over the festive period, so it’s a great place to stay with furry friends too.
* We have been advised that the leisure complex is expected to close around 2.30pm on Christmas Eve and reopen on Boxing Day as normal.
